প্রেম আছে বলেই পৃথিবী এত সুন্দর। মানুষ মানুষকে ভালোবেসে সবকিছু উজাড় করে দেয় নির্দ্বিধায়। যুগে যুগে পৃথিবীতে যত মানুষ এসেছে, সবাই কাউকে না কাউকে ভালোবেসেছে। ভালোবাসাকে হৃদয়ে লালন করে তারুণ্যের কবি মুহাম্মদ নূর ইসলাম ‘প্রিয়ন্তী’ গ্রন্থের প্রথম কবিতায় ফুটিয়ে তুলেছেন তাঁর হৃদয়ের অব্যক্ত ভালোবাসা। মনের মানুষকে উদ্দেশ্য করে প্রণয়ের ছন্দে লিখেছেন বউ হবে? একজন প্রেমিক কতটা ভালোবাসতে পারে তার বহিঃপ্রকাশ ঘটেছে ‘শত জনম পর’ কবিতায়। কবি তাঁর প্রত্যাশিত জীবন সঙ্গীর অপেক্ষায় লিখেছেন ‘একদিন সে আসবে’, ‘ভালোবাসি বলবে’ কবিতা। জীবন সঙ্গীকে তিনি কেমন ভালোবাসবেন সে-কথা বলতে একটুও কুণ্ঠাবোধ করেননি। কথা বলার এক পর্যায়ে তাঁকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, ‘প্রিয়ন্তীকে নিয়ে এত সুন্দর রোমান্টিক কবিতা লেখেন, বলুন তো প্রিয়ন্তী মেয়েটি কে?’ তিনি জবাবে একগাল হেসে বললেন, ‘অচেনা কেউ, ভবিষ্যত বউ।’ কবির কথা শুনে মুহূর্তেই ভাবনার গভীরে ডুবে গেলাম। মূলত প্রকৃত প্রেমিকরা এমনই হয়। আমার দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস ‘প্রিয়ন্তী’ বইটি পড়লে ছেলেরা হতে চাইবে প্রিয়ন্তীর প্রেমিক আর মেয়েরা হতে চাইবে একজন উৎকৃষ্ট প্রেমিকের প্রিয়ন্তী। কবির দ্বিতীয় বই ‘প্রিয়ন্তীর’ জন্য প্রচুর সফলতা ও পাঠকপ্রিয়তা কামনা করছি।
