কবি তোফায়েল আহমেদের প্রথম কাব্যের মতো প্রকৃতি ও প্রেমই নয় শুধু, আলোচ্য কাব্যে তার উচ্চতর চিন্তার প্রকাশও স্থান পেয়েছে। ব্যক্তিপ্রেমকে নিয়ে এসেছেন মানব-প্রেমের মাঝে এবং প্রেম নেই যে সমাজে, প্রেমহীনতার যে সংসার তার মিথ্যা গৌরব ও অহংকার সমাজের ক্ষয়িষ্ণুতারই পরিণাম। কবির কথায় শরৎচন্দ্রের বড় প্রেম ও ছোট প্রেম’র কথা অনেকের মনে পড়বে। কবির উক্তিতে বোঝা যায়, অহংকার অমঙ্গল মাত্র। সত্য প্রেম ও মানবপ্রেম বা মানবিকতা জীবনের সৌন্দর্য বর্ধনের হেতু বা প্রকরণ। মাঙ্গলিক জীবনের পরিচর্যা তথা প্রেমায়ন বা শুদ্ধ প্রেমের আলোকেই জীবনের সমৃদ্ধি এবং সকল হিতায়ন সম্ভব। সেটাই জীবনের কাম্য।
কবি তোফায়েলের প্রেমবোধ ও চেতনা এবং জীবন সাধনায় প্রেমায়ন-ভাবনা তাকে মহৎ করে তুলেছে এ কাব্যে। তার ‘এই হৃদ মাঝারে তোমার নিমন্ত্রণ’ সেই মাঙ্গলিক আহŸানের মহৎ স্পন্দন। যে ব্যতিক্রমী চিন্তা কবি তোফায়েলকে এ কাব্যে সত্য ও সুন্দরের সাধনায় তার সুস্মিত চরণসমূহকে পিনদ্ধ কায়ায় সমৃদ্ধ করে তুলেছে, আমি তার জয় ও প্রতিষ্ঠা কামনা করি।
