‘আলিফ লাম মীম ও মহুয়ার মরমী গম’ মূলত আবহমান বাংলার সংস্কৃতি ও বিশ্বাসের উপর রোপিত অদৃশ্যের পরাগায়ন। সভ্যতা ও ভাষার সামষ্টিক প্রবাহ খোঁজার লড়াই। আদিম কৃষিসমাজ থেকে আজকের আধুনিক মনন সরল কিন্তু গভীর ডায়ালগে সুমিষ্ট পরিবেশন। বিশেষ করে সুফির সহজ পথের মন ধরে বাউলের গরল দেহের বাড়িতে পৌঁছানোর তরিকা। কবিতার এই ঘরানা নতুন নয় তবে পিচ্ছিল। নিজের কারখানার সন্ধান ও আবিষ্কারই মূলত এই কিতাব। যা সবার ভেতের গোপনে কাঁদে। যাকে আমরা ভূগোল ও ইতিহাসের জটিল অলিগলি ভেবে আনন্দ পাই। কিন্তু সুখের ভাষা বড়ই জটিল। যাকে ধরা এক ধরণের অধরা বিষয়। প্রায় অসম্ভব সেই পরম পদ্ধতি রোমান্টিক দেহলী পটে এঁকেছেন কবি পলিয়ার ওয়াহিদ। আসমানী ভাষা-নকশা ও মরমী আবহের কঠিন কাজটি সফলভাবে করতে পেরেছেন কবিতায়। নিজের শেকড় ও মানুষের মনোদৈহিক এইসব জার্নি বাংলা কবিতার নতুনত্ব ও গর্বের।
